A new generation of donor leaders

The Kenyon Fifty Under 50 program recognizes a new generation of donor leaders for their outstanding commitment and generosity to the College. To qualify, donors must be 50 years of age or younger at the time of their pledge, contributing $50,000 or more during the ensuing five-year period.

Fifty Under 50 contributions impact a number of initiatives set forth by the Our Path Forward campaign, including: the Kenyon Fund, an endowment for permanent legacy, and operating funds to support high-impact student practices and unpaid internship stipends. Through these causes, the Fifty Under 50 program aims to fuel the lively and diverse minds that converge on our Hill.

This is the second iteration of the program, which follows the successful inaugural class formed during the We Are Kenyon campaign. In that class, 59 donors contributed a total of $8.8 million to Kenyon leading to 38 newly endowed funds, 31 of which were scholarships. Many alumni leaders also emerged from this class, going on to become members of the Board of Trustees, co-chairs of the Our Path Forward campaign and chair of the Kenyon Fund Executive Committee.

The Fifty Under 50 program allows you to reconnect to the College and leads to other exciting opportunities. I liked being on the committee that was helping to plan the new library.
